Disclosed is an electronic register in which, when a sales item requiring input of its sub-item information is to be registered, the correct sub-item information can be inputted without fail. The number of the sub-items is in no way limited by the number of keys on the keyboard of the register. The electronic register comprises a memory storing a PLU file, and information including price look up codes or PLU codes allotted to individual sales items, names of the individual items, unit prices of the individual items, compulsory input status information indicating that a sales item requires input of its sub-item information, sub-item status information indicating that an item represents sub-item information, and class code information for classifying the sub-items according to linkage with the corresponding sales items, are stored respectively in individual storage areas of the PLU file. At the time of registration of a sales item with an active compulsory input status information, the sub-items having the same class code are displayed together with their display line numbers on a display unit as candidate sub-items for registration. The sub-item is registered when the corresponding display line number is issued by manipulation of the keys on the keyboard.

L'invention a pour objet une caisse enregistreuse électronique permettant d'introduire sans problème les sous-informations devant suivre l'introduction d'une désignation d'article. Le nombre de sous-informations n'est aucunement limité par le nombre de touches au clavier. La caisse enregistreuse est dotée d'une mémoire comportant un fichier PLU (codes d'appel du prix), et les informations PLU correspondant aux différents articles en vente, la désignation de ces articles, le prix unitaire de ces articles, les informations indiquant la nécessité de faire suivre des sous-informations suite à l'introduction d'une désignation d'article, les informations indiquant qu'une donnée est une sous-information, et les informations de code de classe permettant le classement des sous-informations conformément à leur lien avec l'article désigné sont stockées dans des zones de stockage spécifiques dans le fichier PLU. Au moment où l'enregistrement d'une vente s'accompagne d'une demande de sous-informations, les sous-informations ayant le même code de classe sont affichées simultanément, prêtes à être sélectionnées pour enregistrement. Les sous-informations sélectionnées sont enregistrées lorsque le numéro d'affichage correspondant est composé à l'aide des touches du clavier.
