Abstract of the disclosure: A liposome composition in which an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble drug in saturated concentration or more at ordinary temperature is encapsulated in liposomes is disclosed. The liposome composition is produced by forming a liposome membrane under warming by using as a solution to be encapsulated an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble drug in saturated concentration or more at ordinary temperature.
