A computerized system for coding (606) finite numbers of words and symbols in a source language with an indexed database of unique meaning (101) associated with words and symbols in a plurality of other languages. The positioning of the coded words respond to a finite number of grammatical structures in each of the languages characterized by the sequences of the classes of the words or symbols. A user (301) at the source language end has control over the translation method and is allowed or required to eliminate the communication from ambiguities.
L'invention concerne un système informatisé permettant de coder (606) des nombres finis de mots et de symboles dans une langue source au moyen d'une base de données indexée (figure 2) à signification unique (101), associée à des mots et symboles dans une pluralité d'autres langues. Le positionnement des mots codés répond à un nombre fini de structures grammaticales dans chacune des langues caractérisées par les séquences des classes de mots ou de symboles. Un utilisateur (301) au niveau de l'extrémité de la langue source commande le procédé de traduction et est autorisé à éliminer les ambiguïtés de la communication ou doit effectuer une telle opération.
