A method is provided for rapid Internet searching through the creation of a fingerprint (10) of information with a search request made by an individual. This fingerprint is forwarded to a library (12) that locates information related to the finger- print from information submitted by entrants who enter their data in accordance with a specialized master plan and format (14). In one embodiment the master plan has such universal parameters as description, location, price, consumer and consultant feedback, payment shipment and time, insurance/wamanty, and maintenance. A request is encoded in terms of a particular coordinate number reflecting master plan parameters as the fingerprint that is transmitted to the library. The fingerprint in one embodiment includes the result of a series of branching operations to arrive at a decision or a coordinate number corresponding to a prescribed priority choices of parameters. The decision or coordinate number is then matched with those of the entrants and the results forwarded to the requestor of the information as an Internet website address. The result is an exceptionally rapid and accurate search to give the requestor highly specific website information tailored to the fingerprint of the individual's requested items which can include his/her demographics and other pertinent data such as past search requests.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de recherche rapide sur Internet par création d'une empreinte (10) d'informations dotée d'une demande de recherche faite par un individu. Cette empreinte est envoyée à une bibliothèque (12) qui localise les informations relatives à l'empreinte à partir des informations soumises par des nouveaux venus qui entrent leurs données conformément à un plan et format (14) maîtres spécialisés. Selon une réalisation, le plan maître possède des paramètres universels tels que description, localisation, prix, retour consommateur et consultant, envoi et délai paiement, assurance/garantie et maintenance. Une demande est codée en termes d'un nombre de coordonnées spécifiques renvoyant à des paramètres de maître plan tels que l'empreinte qui est transmise à la bibliothèque. L'empreinte de cette réalisation comprend le résultat d'une série d'opérations de branchement pour arriver à une décision ou à un nombre de coordonnées correspondant à des choix de paramètres prescrits en priorité. La décision ou nombre de coordonnées est ensuite mis en correspondance avec celle des entrants et les résultats sont envoyés au demandeur d'informations sous forme d'une adresse de site web d'Internet. Il en résulte une recherche exceptionnellement rapide et précise, ce qui permet au demandeur d'obtenir des informations de site web extrêmement spécifiques, adaptées à l'empreinte des articles demandés par l'individu tels que ses données démographiques et d'autres données appropriées telles que les demandes de recherche antérieures.
