The invention relates to cycloalkyl derivatives comprising bioisoteric carboxylic acid groups and the physiologically acceptable salts and physiologically functional derivatives thereof. Disclosed are compounds of formula (I), wherein the radicals have the indicated meanings, the physiologically acceptable salts thereof, and methods for the production thereof. Said compounds are suitable for treating and/or preventing disturbances of fatty acid metabolism, impaired glucose utilization, and disturbances in which insulin resistance plays a role.
