A novel method and corresponding system are provided for safely reconfiguring a portion of a reprogrammable the nets to be reprogrammed, identifying the device drivers that may induce signal contention during or after a new configuration on the identified nets, electrically isolating the identified drivers, and implementing the new configuration.

L'invention concerne un nouveau procédé et un système correspondant permettant de reconfigurer en toute sécurité une partie d'un dispositif logique reprogrammable. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à identifier les réseaux devant être reprogrammés; à identifier les pilotes de périphériques susceptibles d'entraîner des collision de signaux pendant ou après une nouvelle configuration sur les réseaux identifiés; à isoler électriquement les pilotes identifiés; puis, à mettre en oeuvre la nouvelle configuration.
