An inflammatory cytokine production inhibitor containing a polyprenyl derivative represented by general formula (I) as the active ingredient, wherein R1 and R2 may be the same or different from each other and each represents hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl, C2-C12 aliphatic acyl, C7-C11 aromatic acyl or C8-C12 arylaliphatic acyl; and n represents 0 to 2. The derivative has an excellent effect of inhibiting inflammatory cytokine production and an excellent effect of curing inflammatory intestinal diseases, such as ulcerous colitis and Crohn's disease, and Behcet's disease, so that it is useful as an inflammatory cytokine production inhibitor and a curative or preventive for inflammatory intestinal diseases and Behcet's disease.
Est décrit un inhibiteur de la production de cytokines inflammatoires contenant comme principe actif un dérivé prolyprényle représenté par la formule générale (I) dans laquelle R?1¿ et R?2¿ peuvent être identiques ou différents, et chacun représente hydrogène, alkyle C¿1?-C¿4?, un acyle aliphatique C¿2?-C¿12?, un acyle aromatique C¿7?-C¿11? ou bien un acyle arylaliphatique C¿8?-C¿12?; et n vaut de 0 à 2. Ce dérivé possède un excellent effet inhibiteur de la production de cytokines inflammatoires, ainsi qu'un excellente effet curatif de pathologies intestinales inflammatoires, telles que la colite ulcéreuse et la maladie de Crohn, ainsi que la maladie de Behçet, de sorte qu'il est utile comme inhibiteur de la production de cytokines inflammatoires et comme agent curatif ou préventif d'affections intestinales inflammatoires et de la maladie de Behçet.
