- Méthode de calage d'historique par déformation graduelle d'un réseau de faille associé à un modèle géologique. - On construit un réseau de failles en tirant des centres de failles dans une carte de densité multifractale construite au moyen d'une technique de cascades multiplicatives, et en générant une faille pour chaque centre de failles. Puis, on réalise un calage d'historique du modèle, en déformant le réseau de failles par une déformation continue de la carte de densité multifractale, puis en réitérant les étapes de tirage de centre et de génération de failles. - Application notamment à l'exploitation de gisements pétroliers.
