A combination of filters (1, 2, 3) for filtering selected wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation is provided on a transparent substrate (4) such as a plastic film or glazing of a window. The combination of filters prevents or attenuates the passage of wavelengths through the substrate into a building, where the passage of the wavelengths into the building could adversely affect people or machinery within the building. The combination of filters is useful improve wireless networks performance by blocking or attenuating undesired electromagnetic interference, and radio frequency interference .
L'invention concerne une combinaison de filtres permettant de filtrer des longueurs d'ondes sélectionnées de rayonnement électromagnétique, ladite combinaison étant située sur un substrat transparent, tel qu'un film plastique ou un vitrage d'une fenêtre. La combinaison de films empêche ou atténue le passage de longueurs d'ondes à travers le substrat dans un bâtiment, où le passage desdites longueurs d'ondes pourrait atteindre les gens ou les machines se trouvant au sein du bâtiment. La combinaison de filtres est utilisée pour améliorer l'efficacité de réseaux sans fil par blocage ou atténuation d'interférence électromagnétique et d'interférence de radio fréquence non souhaitées.
