The present invention relates to novel sulfonates based upon alcohol perfumes. The sulfonates have general formulas of (I) and (II) where R and Z are independently selected from the group consisting of nonionic or anionic, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C30 straight, branched or cyclic alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkylaryl or aryl group; Y is a radical that, upon hydrolysis of the sulfonate, forms an alcohol with a boiling point at 760 mm Hg of less than about 300 ~C that is a perfume; and excluding geranyl and neryl methanesulfonates. Preferably these sulfonate compounds are incorporated into laundry and cleaning compositions.
La présente invention se rapporte à de nouveaux sulfonates obtenus à partir de parfums alcoolisés. Ces sulfonates ont les formules générales (I) et (II) dans lesquelles R et Z sont sélectionnés indépendamment dans la série constituée par des groupes alkyle, alcényle, alcynyle, alkylaryle ou aryle linéaires, ramifiés ou cycliques, en C¿1?-C¿30?, non ioniques ou anioniques, substitués ou non substitués. Y est un radical qui, lors de l'hydrolyse du sulfonate, forme un alcool de point d'ébullition à 760 mm Hg inférieur à environ 300 ·C qui est un parfum. Dans cette invention sont exclus les géranyl- et néryl-méthanesulfonates. De préférence, ces composés de sulfonates sont incorporés dans des compositions de blanchissage et de nettoyage.
