The invention relates to a vitamin D compound of the general formula (I) Image wherein: R1 is a hydrogen atom or a hydroxy group, R2 is a hydrogen atom or a substituent selected from the group consisting of (C1-C3)alkyl, phenyl and trifluoromethyl, R3 is a branched or unbranched (C1-C4)alkyl group or a cyclopropyl group or a CF3 group, A and 8 are each individually hydrogen atoms or methyl groups, or A and B form together a methylene group, X is CH2 or O, n is 2 or 3. The invention further relates to methods of preparing these compounds, to methods for preparing a valuable intermediate in the preparation of these compounds and to their use in pharmacotherapy and cosmetics.
