A low-clearance bow spring centralizer (10) can be made by providing a plurality of bow spring modules (54), each having an elongate rib (52) with a first integrally- formed collar segment (54) at a first end and a second integrally- formed collar segment (56) at a second end wherein the first collar segment (54) and the sec-ond collar segment (56) are joined to adjacent first and second collar segments, re-spectively The bow spring modules may be interlinked by welding a seam (55) formed between abutting sides of adjacent pairs of first collar segments and/or second collar segments The sides (54a) of the first collar segment and the sides (56a) of the second collar segment may each be perpendicular to the axis of the centralizer bore, and seams (55) therebetween may be welded to form a first centralizer collar and a second centralizer collar, coupled one to the other by the ribs (52)
La présente invention concerne un centreur à faible marge à ressort arqué (10) qui peut être fabriqué en fournissant une pluralité de modules de ressort arqué (54), qui comportent chacun une nervure oblongue (52) avec un premier segment de collier formé dun seul tenant (54) à une première extrémité et un second segment de collier formé dun seul tenant (56) à une seconde extrémité, le premier segment de collier (54) et le second segment de collier (56) étant joints à des premiers et seconds segments de collier adjacents, respectivement. Les modules de ressort arqué peuvent être liés mutuellement en réalisant une soudure (55) formée entre des côtés contigus de paires adjacentes de premiers segments de collier et/ou de seconds segments de collier. Les côtés (54a) du premier segment de collier et les côtés (56a) du second segment de collier peuvent chacun être perpendiculaires à laxe de lalésage de centreur, et les soudures (55) entre ceux-ci peuvent être réalisées pour former un premier collier de centreur et un second collier de centreur, accouplés lun à lautre par les nervures (52).
