This is a piece of furniture or device that aids people in doing up or undoing their shoes. The device includes four pieces. Two wall anchors, a seat, and a foot rest. The wall anchors are spaced at 16" centers in order to meet up with wall studs (which they are attached to with screws). The seat fits into two drilled holes in the anchors The foot rest also fits into the anchors with a choice of two different (cont- heights. When the seat and foot rest are in the open position, a person may sit down, then rest their foot on the 'Beavestail' foot rest to tie up or undo their shoes. When finished the person fold it into closed position. In this position the device only sticks out from the wall by 2.5". As this may be used at a front or back entrance to a house, it will take up very little floor space. ~~
