ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention discloses a mobile radio telephone device in which when used as a remote handset, the circuitry of the radio telephone device is connected by an adapter to a portable antenna through an antenna input terminal and an antenna output terminal. When the mobile radio telephone device is being fixed to a vehicle, the circuitry of the radio telephone device is connected by an adapter to an external antenna through the antenna output terminal.
