In handling truck tires on pickups it is known that a tire may be conveniently stored in the back of a pickup. A form of holder is supplied with this invention that is cheap, light and durable in contrast to the holder below the back of a truck that is impossible to handle with time and often needs to be cut from the pickup. In this invention a 1/4 inch steel plate plus applicable bolting holds the tire out of the way in the right front corner of the truck box. The tire holder is small, conveniently holds the tire and can be readily pressure washed. A cheap light item that will handle the calculated stress, forces and shocks involved that can be mass produced is the subject of this invention.
