A method and apparatus for weighing and labeling food products vacuum packaged in a heat shrinkable bags wherein appropriate labels of a non-heat shrinkable material are printed with the product welght and are heat sealed to a skirt portion of the bag prior to heat shrinking. The printing of the label is accomplished while the product is being moved from a weigh station to a label attaching station.
