The invention relates to a feed for liquids, which is formed in such a way that the liquid is directed substantially tangentially into a chamber, in order to separate solids from the liquid. In order to introduce the liquid into the chamber in a particularly careful and even way, so that the liquid can be carefully set in a rotating movement, the feed comprises an inflow element that has a number of outlet openings (15) arranged one above the other or a slit (15) for making the inflow fan out in the vertical direction.
