Novel water-soluble linear copolymers of N-vinylamides with monomeric addition products of amines, amino acids, amino groups containing aromatic sulfonic acids, amino alcohols to maleic anhydride as well as maleic esters of polyoxyalkyleneglycols or their monoethers. There is also described the process for the preparation of these copolymers. The copolymers are useful as fluidizers in water containing solid matter suspensions.

Nouveaux copolymères linéaires hydrosolubles de N-vinylamides avec des produits d'addition monomériques d'amines, d'aminoacides, d'acides sulfoniques aromatiques à groupes amino et d'aminoalcools combinés à l'anhydride maléique ainsi qu'à des esters maléiques de polyoxyalkylèneglycols ou à leurs monoéthers. On décrit également le procédé pour la préparation de ces copolymères. Ceux-ci sont utiles comme fluidiseurs dans des suspensions de matières solides contenant de l'eau.
