This invention developed the rod cleaning blade, for removing the accumulated dirt on the grill rods. The main use is on the barbecue and oven grill rods. This rod cleaning blade is a single component tool, made of steel or stainless metal sheet, having a round or polygonal contour, with various "U" shaped cuts on the perimeter, with the property that it can be grabbed safely between fingers or by hand on the sides where the "U" shaped cuts are missing.. All the "U" shaped cuts are hardened for long lasting use. Placing one "U" shaped cut on one grill rod at a time and moving the rod cleaning blade up and down along this grill rod, while applying a slightly pressure, will clean all the dirt from the rods.
