The invention relates to a method of controlling the fill level (6) of containers (4). The inventive method involves the reflection of an acoustic signal which is emitted by an acoustic transmitter/receiver device (7), said device being disposed above a single-line flow of containers (4). The method is characterised in that it comprises the following: during an data acquisition step, one or more standard containers (4A) with a known fill level (6) are brought under the acoustic transmitter/receiver device (7); after the emission of acoustic signals, the reflection signal(s) corresponding to the opening and the level (6) of the contents in said standard container (4A) are detected; and, during the subsequent steps for controlling containers (4) with an unknown fill level (6), the deviation(s) in the reflection signals are compared to the stored standard deviation(s), said reflection signals corresponding to the opening and the level (6) of the contents (5) in the container.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour le contrôle du niveau (6) de remplissage de récipients (4) par réflexion d'un signal acoustique émis par un dispositif émetteur-récepteur acoustique (7) disposé au-dessus d'un flux unifilaire desdits récipients (4). Ce procédé est caractérisé par le fait que: au cours d'une étape d'apprentissage, l'on amène, sous ledit dispositif (7), un ou plusieurs récipients-étalons (4A) de niveau (6) de remplissage connu ; l'on détecte, après émission de signaux acoustiques, le ou les signaux de réflexion correspondant à l'embouchure et au niveau (6) du contenu de ce récipient- étalon (4A); et, au cours des étapes suivantes de contrôle de récipients (4) au niveau (6) de remplissage inconnu, on compare le ou les écarts des signaux de réflexion, correspondant à l'embouchure et au niveau (6) du contenu (5), ceci par rapport à le ou les écarts-étalons mémorisés.
