A method for simplified hybrid seed production by latent diploid parthenogenesis and parthenote cleavage. Latent diploid parthenogenesis and subsequence parthenote is cleavage is induced by controlled artificial condition that activate latent apomictic behaviour and result in a transition from sexual seed production to diploid asexual parthenogenesis. The method is useful for production of apomictic hybrid seeds.

Méthode pour la production simplifiée de semence hybride par la parthénogénèse diploïde latente et la séparation du parthénote. La parthénogénèse diploïde latente et la séparation du parthénote est obtenue par des conditions artificielles contrôlées qui stimulent le comportement apomictique latent et entraîne une transition de la production sexuée de semences à la production par pathénogénèse asexuée diploïde. Cette méthode est utile pour la production de semences hybrides apomictiques.
