Disclosed are compounds of formula (I), wherein Ar represents an aryl or heteroaryl group; and R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 represent organic or inorganic substituents, which compounds are highly selective partial agonists or antagonists at human CRF1 receptors and, thus, are useful in the diagnosis and treatment of treating stress related disorders such as post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as well as depression, headache and anxiety.

La présente invention concerne des composés de formule (I), dans laquelle Ar représente un groupe aryle ou hétéroaryle, et R¿1?, R¿2?, R¿3?, R¿4? et R¿5? représentent des substituants organiques ou inorganiques. Ces composés sont des agonistes ou antagonistes partiels, hautement sélectifs, de récepteurs de CRF1 humains et, ainsi, ils sont utiles dans le diagnostic et le traitement des troubles liés au stress tels que l'état de stress post-traumatique ainsi que la dépression, le mal de tête et l'anxiété.
