- 12 - GRAPHICS DISPLAY SYSTEM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A graphics display system having a plurality of elongate fins or louvres extending from a base and a width between the fins that allows shadows to be cast from the fins onto the base and other fins. Graphics in the form of letters, symbols and the like may be connected to the end of or between the fins. Inserts may also be mounted within the fins. Because of the shadows cast from the fins and with the use of the inserts, the graphics are highlighted and a three dimensional appearance may be obtained.
