An exothermal composition, which comprises an iron powder, a carbon component, a reaction accelerating agent, a hydrogen generation inhibiting agent and water, characterized in that the iron powder contains 20 to 100 wt % of an active iron powder, at least a part of the surface of the active iron powder is coated with an oxidized iron film, the oxidized iron film has a thickness of 3 nm or more, and the active iron powder is at least either of an active iron powder having a region of an iron component containing no oxygen in at least one region selected from a central region of the active iron powder and a region under the oxidized iron film and an active iron powder having a wustite content of 2 to 50 wt%, as determined by the ratio of its X-ray peak intensity to that of iron; an exothermal article comprising the exothermal composition; and methods for producing them. The above exothermal composition exhibits excellent characteristics in the start and initial rise of heat generation, and can retain a heat generation for a long period of time.
Cette invention a pour objet une composition exothermique qui comprend une poudre de fer, un composant carbone, un agent accélérateur de réaction, un agent inhibiteur de génération d'hydrogène et de l'eau, caractérisée en ce que la poudre de fer contient de 20 à 100 % en poids de poudre de fer active, et en ce qu'au moins une partie de la surface de la poudre de fer active est recouverte d'une couche de fer oxydé, dont l'épaisseur minimale est de 3 nm, et en ce que la poudre de fer active possède au moins une zone de composant ferreux avec une teneur en oxygène nulle dans au moins une des zones extraites de la zone centrale de la poudre de fer, et une zone situées sous la couche de fer oxydé, et une poudre de fer active dont la teneur en wustite est comprise entre 2 et 50 % en poids, comme le définit la proportion de rayons X au maximum de leur intensité dans ce fer ; un article exothermique comprenant cette composition exothermique ; et les procédés de production de ces derniers. La composition exothermique susmentionnée présente d'excellentes qualités en matière d'initiation de génération de chaleur, et peut maintenir cette génération de chaleur sur une longue période.
