The present invention relates to a novel influenza vaccine, a novel plasmid for preparing the same and a novel dosage form comprising the same. The present invention in particular relates to a recombinant modified vaccinia Ankara (MVA) virus comprising and capable of simultaneously expressing a cassette of at least four foreign genes from influenza virus, specifically an avian influenza virus, wherein the said genes are inserted at a non-essential site, within the MVA genome. The invention further relates to a recombinant modified vaccinia Ankara (MVA) virus comprising and capable of simultaneously expressing a cassette of not less than two foreign genes from influenza virus, wherein the said genes are inserted at a non-essential site, within the MVA genome, with the provision that at least one foreign gene is either PB2 or M2e. The invention also provides composition and methods of making the universal influenza vaccine.
La présente invention concerne un vaccin inédit contre la grippe, un plasmide inédit utilisé pour sa préparation et une forme pharmaceutique inédite en contenant. La présente invention concerne, en particulier, un virus recombinant de la vaccine de souche modifiée Ankara (MVA) comprenant et capable d'exprimer simultanément une cassette d'au moins quatre gènes étrangers au virus de la grippe, plus précisément à un virus de la grippe aviaire, lesdits gènes étant introduits au niveau d'un site non essentiel au sein du génome du MVA. L'invention concerne, en outre, un virus recombinant de la vaccine de souche modifiée Ankara (MVA) comprenant et capable d'exprimer simultanément une cassette d'au moins deux gènes étrangers au virus de la grippe, lesdits gènes étant introduits au niveau d'un site non essentiel au sein du génome du MVA, sous réserve qu'au moins l'un de ces gènes étrangers soit PB2 ou M2e. L'invention concerne également des compositions et des procédés de fabrication dudit vaccin universel contre la grippe.
