In a mirror-mountable anti-dew fixture providing a structure enclosing a sheet-type electrical heating element, the fixture consists essentially of two separable subassemblies: a routing subassembly for carrying wiring sub-wall to a power supplying hook-up point on a pre-existing circuit, and an envelope subassembly for holding the element. Each of the subassemblies includes as a component an interlocking part of a separable termination enclosure formed when the two subassemblies are joined by uniting their respective interlocking parts. The internal lead connections within the termination enclosure are also separable, using twist-cap connectors or similarly disconnectable means. The envelope subassembly has a metal liner for flame-proofing and grounding purposes. Use of this fixture is not restricted to one particular type of heating element, and it also presents the opportunity to upgrade subassemblies, since they can be fabricated in different versions, all having in common the unique interlocking parts which form the separable termination enclosure.
