The invention concerns a machine for making thermoplastic containers by drawing and blowing a preform (10) comprising at least a drawing rod (20) which is slidably controlled along its axis (An) by an actuator (34) from a retracted position to a maximum drawing position to draw the preform (10) during the blowing process. The invention is characterised in that when the drawing rod (20) returns towards its retracted position, the actuator (34) is idle, the rod (20) return being ensured by the blowing pressure prevailing inside the container being produced and acting on the working end (46) of the rod (20).

L'invention concerne une machine de fabrication de récipients en matière thermoplastique par étirage et soufflage d'une préforme (10), du type comportant au moins une tige d'étirage (20) qui est commandée en coulissement selon son axe (An) par un actionneur (34) d'une position escamotée à une position d'étirage maximum pour assurer l'étirage de la préforme (10) au cours de l'opération de soufflage, caractérisée en ce que, lors du retour de la tige d'étirage (20) vers sa position escamotée, l'actionneur (34) est au repos, le retour de la tige (20) étant assuré par la pression de soufflage qui règne à l'intérieur du récipient en cours de la fabrication et qui agit sur l'extrémité de travail (46) de la tige (20).
