A tool-holder device (1) bearing at least one tool (20,21) for cooperating with at least one substrate (50,60), when positioned on the side of said substrate. Said device (1) can cause the tool to perform translational and rotational movements in relation to the substrate. The substrate can be translated in relation to the tool during the operation thereof. The invention is characterized in that the tool (20,21) cooperates with the substrate(s) with or without any contact vis a vis the edge(s) of the substrate(s).

Dispositif porte-outil (1) supportant au moins un outil (20,21) destiné à coopérer avec au moins un substrat (50,60), selon un positionnement sur chant du substrat, le dispositif (1) étant apte à faire effectuer à l'outil des mouvements de translation et de rotation par rapport au substrat, ledit substrat pouvant être mis en translation par rapport à l'outil lors du fonctionnement de ce dernier, caractérisé en ce que la coopération de l'outil (20, 21) avec le ou les substrats (50, 60) est effectuée avec ou sans contact par rapport à la tranche du ou des substrats.
