The present invention relates to antifibrillogenic agents for inhibiting amyloidosis and/or for cytoprotection for the treatment of amyloidosis disorders. These agents include peptides, isomers thereof and peptidomimetic compounds thereof. These agents comprise a peptide having a sequence identified from the glycosaminoglycan (GAG) binding region and the prot-prot interaction region of the amyloid protein. The peptide has at least one [D] amino acid isomer substitution. The invention also relates to the peptide bound to a label for in vivo imaging of amyloid deposits.
L'invention concerne des agents antifibrillogenèse inhibant l'amylose et/ou assurant la cytoprotection pour le traitement des troubles de l'amylose. Ces agents renferment des peptides, des isomères de ces peptides et des peptidomimétiques correspondants. Ils comprennent un peptide ayant une séquence identifiée à partir de la région de liaison de glycosaminoglycane (GAG) et de la région d'interaction protéine-protéine de la protéine amyloïde. Le peptide comporte au moins une substitution d'isomère d'acide aminé [D]. L'invention concerne en outre la liaison du peptide à un traceur pour l'imagerie in vivo des dépôts amyloïdes.
