This invention relates to the method for rendering the spectrophone capable of multiple specie analysis simultaneously. This invention is based on: the geometric design of the spectrophone chamber (containing the microphones) being acoustically resonant at a number of different resonant frequencies; the simultaneous illumination of the sample in the chamber by the lasers, each operating at a different wavelength; the amplitude modulation of the radiation from each laser being a frequency rate corresponding to a particular resonant frequency; microphones inside the chamber each positioned and frequency tuned to a corresponding resonant frequency. There are many variations on this scheme.
