A coin dispensing apparatus having a cylindrical hopper (1), the axis of which extends vertically, the bottom of the hopper (1) being closed by a base (2) above which is arranged a rotatable coin disc (12) having cir- cumferentially spaced holes (13) for the receipt of coins, the base (2) be- ing provided with a coin exit slot (3) through which coins are deliv- ered, the base (2) being supported on a plinth (4) containing a driving mo- tor (8) for rotating the coin disc (12), characterised in that the base (2) is removably secured to the plinth (4) from which it is adapted to be read- ily removed together with the hopper (1) and the coin disc (12), and means which on removal and replacement of the base (2) from the plinth (4) bring the coin disc (12) automatically into engagement with the driving motor (8).

Un distributeur de monnaie présente une trémie (1) cylindrique, à axe vertical, dont le fond est fermé par une base (2) qui supporte un disque (12) à monnaie tournant, doté d'orifices (13) espacés sur sa circonférence pour recevoir des pièces. Cette base (2) présente une fente (3) de sortie de monnaie permettant de distribuer des pièces et elle prend appui sur un socle (4) contenant le moteur d'entraînement (8) chargé de faire tourner le disque (12) à monnaie. Ce distributeur se caractérise par sa base (2) qui est fixée de façon amovible au socle (4) dont on peut facilement la retirer conjointement avec la trémie (1) et le disque (12) à monnaie. Il se caractérise aussi par un dispositif qui, lors du retrait et du remplacement de la base (2) sur le socle (4), amène automatiquement ce disque à monnaie (12) en prise avec le moteur (8) d'entraînement.
