A method for handling separation media slurry in a tank, before transferring the separation media slurry to a column or a container. The method comprises the steps of: - blowing gas from the bottom of the tank into the sedimented media in the tank and thereby the sedimented media starts to re-suspend; - starting an impeller (7) provided in the tank in order to stir said media slurry that already has started to re-suspend.

La présente invention concerne la manipulation dune suspension de milieu de séparation dans une cuve, avant le transfert de la suspension de milieu de séparation à une colonne ou à un récipient. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : - insuffler un gaz du fond de la cuve dans le milieu sédimenté dans la cuve, le milieu sédimenté commençant ainsi à se remettre en suspension; - mettre en marche un impulseur (7) fourni dans la cuve pour mélanger ladite suspension de milieu qui a déjà commencé à se remettre en suspension.
