The present invention relates to zlmda24 polynucleotide and polypeptide molecules. Zlmda24 is a novel cytokine-like polypeptide with an anti-parallel alphahelical structure. The polypeptides may be used within methods for stimulating the proliferation and/or development of hematopoietic cells in vitro and in vivo . Moreover, zlmda24 polynucleotides, polypeptides and antibodies can be used as a diagnostic to detect the presence of human testis tissue. The present invention also includes methods for producing the protein, uses therefor and antibodies thereto.

La présente invention concerne des molécules polynucléotidiques et polypeptidiques de la protéine Zlmda24. Cette protéine Zlmda24 est un nouveau polypeptide de type cytokine présentant une structure à hélice alpha antiparallèle.
