The invention relates to a starker for stacking articles (1), particularly blister packs, into stacks of goods (2), comprising a goods feeder (4), a primary packing unit (5) and a unit (7) for supplying the stacks (2) for secondary packing or processing. The packing unit (5) has a goods magazine (3) with a goods support, on which the articles (1) inserted in the magazine (3) may be deposited to form stacks of goods (2). The goods magazine (3) has a first goods support (8) and a second goods support (9), the first support (8) being arranged above the stack of goods (2) until the stack (2) resting on the second support (9) is removed. A further stack (2) may be piled up on the first support and lowered into the removal position following the removal of the stack (2) located below it.
