A dispersant which is a phosphate ester of a polymer which contains at least one ether group and a poly(oxyalkylenecarbonyl) chain (POAC chain) derivable from two or more different hydroxycarboxyl acids or lactones thereof. Also disclosed is the use of the dispersants in paints and printing inks including millbases. The preferred dispersants are phosphate esters of an alkyl end-capped poly(oxyalkylenecarbonyl) chain alcohol where the POAC chain is derived from .epsilon.-caprolactone and .delta.-valerolactone and the alkyl group is derived from a monohydroxypolyalkyleneglycol.
L'invention concerne un agent de dispersion qui est un ester phosphorique d'un polymère renfermant au moins un groupe éther et une chaîne poly(oxyalkalkylènecarbonyle) (chaîne POAC) pouvant être dérivée d'au moins deux acides hydrocarboxyliques ou de lactones. Fait aussi l'objet de cette invention l'utilisation des agents de dispersion dans les peintures et les encres d'impression contenant des pigments en pâte. Les agents de dispersion sont, de préférence, des esters phosphoriques d'un alcool de chaîne poly(oxyalkylènecarbonyle) alkyle à coiffage en terminaison où la chaîne POAC est dérivée de epsilon -caprolactone et delta -valérolactone et le groupe alkyle est dérivé d'un monohydroxypolyalkylèneglycol.
