The invention concerns a method and a system for using a smart card capable of being inserted in a terminal equipped with an explorer, comprising the following steps: storing in the card an Internet provider's address, an IP address and the card user's other personal Internet data; inserting the card in a card reader connected to the terminal; and activating the explorer to use the personal Internet data when the terminal is connected to Internet.
Procédé et système d'utilisation d'une carte à puce inserable dans un terminal équipé d'un explorateur, comprenant les étapes consistant à mémoriser dans la carte l'adresse d'un fournisseur Internet, une adresse IP et d'autres données Internet personnelles de l'utilisateur de la carte, insérer la carte dans un lecteur de carte connecté au terminal, et activer l'explorateur pour utiliser les données Internet personnelles lorsque le terminal est connecté à Internet.
