The invention relates to the use of certain fumaric acid monoalkyl esters in the form of salts or a free acid, alone or combined with a dialkyl fumarate only, for producing pharmaceutical preparations for use in transplant medicine, especially for treating, mitigating or suppressing host-versus-graft reactions. The fumaric acid monoalkyl esters can also be used for this purpose in conjunction with the preparations traditionally used in transplant medicine and with immunosupressants such as cyclosporins in particular.

L'invention concerne l'utilisation de certains monoalkylesters d'acide fumarique sous forme de sels ou d'acides libres, seuls ou en association avec un dialkylfumarate afin de produire des préparations pharmaceutiques utilisées dans la médecine de transplantation, notamment pour traiter, atténuer ou supprimer des réactions de l'hôte contre le greffon. Ces monoalkylesters d'acide fumarique peuvent être utilisés à cet effet également en association avec des préparations classiques de la médecine de transplantation et avec des immunosuppresseurs, notamment les cyclosporines.
