The invention relates to a method for modifying the colour of dyed textile substrates by treating the dyed textile substrates with an electrochemically produced aqueous solution of reductants or oxidants. The method is characterised in that the cell stream is controlled in such a way that the solution in contact with the dyed textile substrate has a redox potential that is suitable for achieving the colour modification.

Procédé permettant d'obtenir des modifications de la couleur de substrats textiles teints par traitement desdits substrats avec une solution aqueuse, produite de manière électrochimique, de substances de réduction ou d'oxydation. Ledit procédé est caractérisé en ce que le courant cellulaire est ainsi réglé que la solution en contact avec le substrat textile teint possède un potentiel d'oxydo-réduction approprié pour obtenir une modification de la couleur.
