Steam cleaning apparatus, comprising an upper handle (1), an intermediate pole (4) and a bottom head for the production and supplying of steam, provided with an instantaneous steam generator, a water reservoir (2) housed on the top of this pole (4) in the region of the handle (1), a duct (5) for transferring the water from this reservoir (2) to said head (7) and a water loading device (3) housed on an associated loading mouth (202) formed above said reservoir (2); this apparatus comprises a steam regulating device (22) provided with a fixed bush (24} having a hollow bottom end (241) sealingly engaged on the top end of the sectional pole (4) and a valve body (29) fixed inside said bush (24) ; the top part (291) of this valve body (29) is sealingly engaged on a discharge mouth (201) of said reservoir (2) and is provided with a through-hole (292) able to be opened and closed in an adjustable manner by a valve (28) which can be actuated on the outside of the device (22) by means of suitable means (23) which are movable with respect to said bush (24).

La partie supérieure (291) du corps de vanne (29) est raccordée à la bouche d'évacuation (201) du réservoir (2) par l'intermédiaire d'un joint et comprend un trou débouchant (292) dont l'ouverture et la fermeture sont réglées par la vanne (28), laquelle peut être actionnée de l'extérieur du dispositif (22) grâce à un mécanisme conçu à cette fin (23), mobile par rapport au manchon (24).
