A method of rejuvenating a deactivated molecular sieve catalyst, deactivated by use in an olefin oligomerization or aromatics alkylation process, which method comprises contacting the deactivated catalyst with a stream of rejuvenation gas comprising a hydrocarbon product fraction from the process at an elevated temperature and pressure for a time sufficient to effect an increase in catalytic activity of the deactivated catalyst.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de régénération d'un catalyseur de tamis moléculaire désactivé qui a été désactivé par son utilisation dans un processus d'oligomérisation d'oléfines ou d'alkylation d'aromatiques: le procédé selon l'invention consiste à mettre en contact le catalyseur désactivé avec un flux de gaz régénérant comprenant une fraction de produit hydrocarbure issue du processus, à haute température et à haute pression pendant une durée suffisante pour produire une augmentation de l'activité catalytique du catalyseur désactivé.
