The invention relates to a system for flight management comprising a performance management computer which, during the flight preparation by the crew, plots a flight plan (20) with branches (203, 204, 206, 208) where diversion trajectories (30, 40, 50, 60) for return to the airport branch off. Said system is capable of automatically or otherwise, depending on the situation encountered during flight, substituting one of the trajectories for diverted return to the airport, provided during the flight plan preparation, for the rest of the flight plan remaining. The invention is of particular use in the case of late change to landing runway.
Ce système de gestion du vol comporte un calculateur de gestion du vol traçant, lors de la préparation d'un vol par l'équipage, un plan de vol (20) avec des embranchements (203, 204, 206, 208) d'où partent des trajectoires (30, 40, 50, 60) de rejointes d'aéroport de déroutement et pouvant, de manière automatique ou non, en fonction de la situation rencontrée en cours du vol, substituer à la partie du plan de vol restant à parcourir, une des trajectoires de rejointes d'aéroport de déroutement prévue à la préparation du plan de vol. Il est particulièrement utile en cas de changement tardif de piste d'atterrissage.
