An apparatus for detecting analytes in a sample is provided. The apparatus includes: one or more channels (10) having a detection zone (14); one or more irradiation sources (16) disposed for irradiating the detection zone (14) with non-coherent radiation; a detector array (34) disposed for collecting light signals emitted from markers in the detection zone (14) excited by the radiation, the detector array (34) having an output; and a system coupled to the detector array (34) for effecting time delay integration of the charges on the detector array (34) corresponding to the light signals by accumulating the charges before reading the charges at the output of the detector array (34). Other apparatus and methods for detecting analytes in a sample are also provided.

L'invention concerne un appareil permettant de détecter des analytes dans un échantillon. Ledit appareil comprend un ou plusieurs canaux (10) doté(s) d'une zone de détection (14); une ou plusieurs zone(s) d'irradiation (16) disposée(s) de façon à irradier ladite zone de détection (14) à l'aide d'un rayonnement non cohérent; un réseau de détecteurs (34) disposés de façon à collecter des signaux lumineux émis par des marqueurs dans la zone de détection (14) excitée par le rayonnement, ledit réseau de détecteurs (34) comprenant une sortie; et un système couplé audit réseau de détecteurs (34) afin d'effectuer une intégration de temporisation des charges sur le réseau de détecteurs (34) correspondant aux signaux lumineux par accumulation desdites charges avant leur lecture au niveau de la sortie dudit réseau de détecteurs (34).
