An anchoring system (S) for mounting a support plate (P, P') for instance to a human rachis comprises first and second threaded fasteners (10, 20) each having proximal and distal ends. The proximal ends are adapted to be spaced from each other for holding the support plate (P, P') against a vertebra (V, V1, V2) of the rachis while the distal ends are embedded in the bone. The threaded fasteners (10, 20) converge from their proximal ends towards their distal ends. The first threaded fastener (10) defines at its distal end a female threaded element in the form of a threaded openig (12) extending obliquely means of the first fastener (10) and adapted to be threadably engaged by the male threaded distal end of the second fastener (20). The proximal end of the first fastener (10) is provided with indicia for indicating an orientation of its threaded opening (12) within the bone (V, V1, V2) such as to facilitate the engagement therein of the male threaded distal end of the second fastener (20). With the support plate (P, P'), the first and second facteners (10, 20) define a triangular frame that is firmly secure to the vertebra (V, V1, V2).

L'invention concerne un système de fixation (S) permettant d'installer une plaque de support (P, P') à un rachis humain, par exemple. Ce système comprend un premier et un second élément de fixation fileté (10, 20). Chaque élément possède une extrémité distale et une extrémité proximale. Les extrémités proximales sont adaptées en vue d'être espacées l'une de l'autre et de soutenir la plaque de support (P, P') contre une vertèbre (V, V¿1?, V¿2?) du rachis, alors que les extrémités distales sont incrustées dans l'os. Les éléments de fixation filetés (10, 20) convergent depuis leurs extrémités proximales vers leurs extrémités distales. Le premier élément de fixation fileté (10) définit à son extrémité distale un élément fileté femelle en forme d'ouverture filetée (12) orientée obliquement par apport aux moyens du premier élément de fixation (10) et adapté en vue d'être emboîté, par filetage, par l'extrémité distale filetée du second élément de fixation (20). L'extrémité proximale du premier élément de fixation (10) est pourvue d'un indicateur permettant d'indiquer une orientation de son ouverture filetée (12) à l'intérieur de l'os (V, V¿1?, V¿2?), de manière à faciliter son emboîtement à l'intérieur de l'extrémité filetée mâle du second élément de fixation (20). Conjointement à la plaque de support (P, P'), le premier et le second élément de fixation (10, 20) définissent un cadre triangulaire fermement fixé à la vertèbre (V, V¿1?, V¿2?).
