There is disclosed a vehicle (5a;5b;5c), for example, a self-propelled and/or pedal vehicle such as tricycles (10a;10b;10c), bicycle, scooter, micro-scooter, or collapsible scooter, for example, adapted for use by children or infants. Accordingly, the invention provides a self-propelled vehicle (5a;5b;5c) comprising illuminatable direction indicator means 45a;45b;45c) comprising left turn and right turn indictor means (45'a,45"a;45'b,45"b;45'c,45"c), which selectably operate by turning of a steering means or column (30a;30b;30c) of the self-propelled vehicle (5a;5b;5c) to the left or to the right, respectively, the steering means or column (30a;30b;30c) comprising handlebars in a disclosed embodiment. The self-propelled vehicle (5a;5b;5c) comprises a tricycle.
