The invention relates to a breast prosthesis which is made from a material that is widely known as silicon. The inventive prosthesis comprises a body (1) that is trabecular or provided with micro-cells (3), which may or may not have a cover (2). The prosthesis serves to eliminate the risk of tears and the risk of extravasation of the internal liquid. According to the invention, the prosthesis is provided with a smaller density, and therefore a lighter weight, than standard prostheses and the problems of ptosis are eliminated.

L'invention concerne une prothèse mammaire fabriquée à partir d'une matière connue sous le nom générique de silicone, comprenant un corps (1) trabéculaire ou de microcellules (3), entouré d'une enveloppe (2). Cette prothèse permet d'éliminer les risques de déchirement, comme l'extravasation du liquide intérieur, possède une densité inférieure à celles des prothèses actuellement disponibles et par conséquent un poids inférieur, et permet également d'éliminer les problèmes de ptôse.
