The invention concerns a swash pump designed for the trans- fer of sensitive, time-critical fluids in the food-technology or bio- technology field. All the spaces (11, 15, 16) with which the fluid be- ing pumped comes in contact are included in the pumping path. Since fluid is flowing continuously through the spaces (11, 15, 16) which come in contact with the fluid, the fluid cannot settle in any one place. This makes it possible to clean the pump by simply flushing out the pump with the pump still fitted in place,
