The lens implant serves to replace the lens body of an eye and possesses substantially the same size and shape. It is elastic such that the eye gets back its capability for accommodation. It consists of two parts (10, 11) with differing refractive indices and/or differing shapes, which allows to adapt the focal length and shape to specific requirements in simple manner. A distal part (11) is prefabricated as pre-made lens part, while the proximal part (10) can preferably be brought into the lens capsule in a flowable state.
L'invention concerne un implant cristallinien servant à remplacer le cristallin d'un oeil, et présentant essentiellement les dimensions et la forme d'un cristallin. Ledit implant est élastique de manière que l'oeil conserve sa faculté d'accommodation, et est composé de deux parties (10, 11) ayant des indices de réfraction et/ou des formes différentes, la distance focale et la forme pouvant ainsi être adaptées simplement aux différents besoins. Une partie distale (11) est conçue en tant que partie cristallinienne préconçue, la partie proximale (10) pouvant de préférence être introduite dans la capsule cristallinienne sous une forme à écoulement libre.
