A metaphyseal hip prosthesis (1) has an oblong plate (3) with at one head end a mounting pin S provided with a hinge ball or for mounting a hinge ball of a hip joint, and at the opposite head end a fastening pin (7) for fastening the hip prosthesis in a shaft of a bone. A first part (3A) of the plate extends on a first side of the mounting pin S. The mounting pin S forms an angle alpha smaller than 90 degrees with the first part (3A) of the plate and the tangent L1 to the fastening pin (7) at the location of the connection between the fastening pin and the first part (3A) of the plate forms an angle beta greater than 90 degrees with the first part (3A) of the plate. In order to insert the hip prosthesis (1) into a bone in a simple manner, the fastening pin (7) shows a curved shape from the plate (3) onwards in a direction to the first part (3A) of the plate.
Une prothèse de hanche métaphysaire (1) a une plaque oblongue (3) avec, au niveau d'une extrémité de tête, une broche de montage S dotée d'une bille d'articulation ou en vue du montage d'une bille d'articulation d'une articulation de hanche, et à l'extrémité de tête opposée, une broche de fixation (7) pour une fixation de la prothèse de hanche dans un corps d'un os. Une première partie (3A) de la plaque s'étend sur un premier côté de la broche de montage S.
