A tool comprising an anchor plate which is fastened to the outer housing of the safe by means of self tapping screws or screws using tapped holes so that a drill bushing located in the anchor plate is in alignment with the desired hole to be drilled in the safe housing, a frame is designed to attach to the anchor plate with a rotatably mounted shaft located centrally in the frame and to which is attached a drill chuck on the end nearest to the safe housing with the remote end machined to receive the chuck of an electric power drill with a threaded bushing enclosing this shaft fitted with a special knurled internally threaded disc and mounted so that when the knurled disc is rotated pressure can be applied to the rotating drill so that a hole may be drilled into the safe housing and penetrate the locking disc compartment where with the help of special lights and probes the combination may be discovered that is required to open the safe.
