A vibrating toothbrush (10) which includes a handle member (12), an elongated arm (14) which has a brushhead (16) at the distal end thereof, and a drive assembly for moving the brushhead (16) at a selected velocity. Responsive to an on/off switch (18) on the toothbrush (10) is an on/off variable, which enables a master clock to produce a drive signal the on/off variable being reset by a 120-second timer (40). A quadtimer variable, when in the enabled state, is responsive to the on/off switch (18) to produce an audible signal and a difference in brush velocity at 30-second intervals within the 120--second period.
L'invention concerne une brosse à dents vibrante, comportant un manche, un bras allongé surmonté d'une brosse à son extrémité distale ainsi qu'un équipement moteur permettant de la mettre en mouvement à une vitesse sélectionnée. Une variable marche-arrêt, sensible à un interrupteur marche-arrêt se trouvant sur le manche, fait fonctionner un cadenceur destiné à produire un signal d'actionnement, ladite variable étant remise à l'état intial par une minuterie pré-réglée à 120 secondes. Lorsqu'une variable de minuterie à quatre périodes est en services, elle réagit aux positions de l'interrupteur marche-arrêt, ce qui déclenche un signal sonore et fair varier la vitesse de mouvement de la brosse toutes les 30 secondes dans un laps de temps de 120 secondes.
